Many conditions can be safely monitored over time, avoiding unnecessary interventions while ensuring close follow-up. Clear decisions are made when treatment or further investigation is required, including referral where necessary.<br>As physician licenced in Portugal (Ordem dos Medicos), prescriptions can be issued within the framework of the Portuguese SNS where appropriate.
