Ayurveda recognizes infinitevly similarities in the <em>purusha <\/em>and the surrounding world, the universe, called <em>loka<\/em>. The universe, as well as humans, are composed of the 5 elements and are thus subject to the same laws. <em>Brahman<\/em>, the soul of the world finds itself in the human as <em>Atman. Atman <\/em>originates from <em>Brahman <\/em>and is at the same time part of it.
