Post-Covid and Fatigue Syndrome – Ayurvedic Treatment Programme

Our Ayurvedic treatment programme is specifically designed for individuals experiencing unexplained chronic fatigue and/or muscle pains, whether for months or years. Additionally, the health programme caters to those suffering from a range of symptoms following a COVID infection or vaccination, including:

  • Fatigue: Persistent tiredness and weakness.
  • Breathing difficulties: Trouble breathing and shortness of breath.
  • Headaches: Persistent or recurring headaches.
  • Concentration difficulties and memory issues, also known as “Brain Fog.”
  • Joint and muscle pains: Aches in muscles and joints.
  • Sleep disturbances: Difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep.
  • Loss of smell and taste: Persistent changes or complete loss of smell and taste.
  • Gastrointestinal issues: Abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhoea.
  • Skin problems: Rashes and other dermatological issues.

It is all about Agni and Ama

According to Ayurvedic teachings, chronic illnesses can be attributed to a weakness in “Agni,” responsible for healthy digestion and metabolism. A weak Agni leads to an insufficient metabolism and the accumulation of undigested substances in the body, known as “Ama.” The goal of this programme is to strengthen Agni, eliminate Ama, and enhance organ functions.

Our Programme

Our 14-day Post-Covid/Fatigue Syndrome Therapy includes:

  • Medicinal stimulation of Agni with Pippali (long pepper).
  • 10 body purifications with detoxifying fluid-pouring and an introductory full-body massage called Dhanyamla Dhara (duration approximately 90 minutes).
  • 4 forehead purification-flow with oil or buttermilk called Shiro takra or thaila dhara (duration approximately 60 minutes).
  • Agni-friendly and invigorating Ayurvedic diet
  • Complementary Ayurvedic Medication customised to address the unique symptom profile.

Additional treatments can be added, such as Abhyanga (classic Ayurvedic full-body massage), Netra Vasti (Ayurvedic eye bath), and Karana Puruna (Ayurvedic ear bath).

Our outpatient programme allows you to visit our clinic daily. Treatments typically occur in the morning, and breakfast and lunch are provided. A light evening meal is also provided.
